The Transition Into Law Practice Program (TILPP) is the mentoring and continuing legal education requirement for most lawyers newly admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. The purpose of TILPP is to provide professional guidance and counsel to assist newly admitted lawyers in acquiring the practical skills, judgment and professional values necessary to practice law in a highly competent manner.
TILPP provides programming and support for newly admitted lawyers and their mentors to ensure new lawyers have a smooth entry into the practice of law. The Summary for Newly Admitted Lawyers and Summary for Mentor Volunteers provides a general overview of the program and requirements.
Contact TILPP at tilpp@waki-aiai.net or 404-527-8708.
TILPP requires the completion of a number of important documents for both newly admitted lawyers and mentor volunteers.
